MEET THE TEAM : The gals that make Weekend:IN happen

Any successful business needs a amazing team, so in celebration of Galentines Day, we want to share with you the gals behind Weekend:IN.

Olivia Tripp - Founder

Olivia is the founder of Weekend:IN, taking a small home office project to the successful business it is today. With an expertise in marketing and brand building, Olivia uses her talent to work with independent brands in Bristol and London and grow their audience. Always knowing she wanted to work in the creative industries, Olivia has developed her own knowledge and skills through interning with companies before making her own vision a reality! With the two year anniversary of Weekend:IN approaching, Olivia continues to work with inspiring brands such as Shoreditch Nails, Spring Wharf, and Plenaire. As well as this Olivia shares her knowledge with smaller brands with her ‘How To Build A Brand’ events and brings together businesses and influencers at her #wkndin Influencer events.

Phoebe Slee - Digital marketing

Phoebe is our Digital Marketing assistant and joined the team in 2018. As a graduate of Make-up and Hair Design at Solent University, Phoebe developed a passion for the digital and marketing side of the industry, giving her the flair for communicating and developing relationships with our clients such as Wavi, Facebar and The Extra Mile Guide to deliver successful marketing and online presence. In her spare time she enjoys sport, creating Youtube videos for her successful challenge and drinking tea!

Emily Lamborn - Digital marketing and events

Emily was our first recruit and joined in 2017, she is our digital marketing and events assistant and perfectly suited to our values here at Weekend:IN, with a passion for independent businesses and a talent for art and branding. Her role involves working on influencer and brand events as well as marketing for our clients such as Meanwhile Creative, MOSS, and Joe’s Tea Company. Aside to working for Weekend:IN, she also runs her own lingerie brand Lufsum Lingerie, with every element created and developed by herself! In her spare time she enjoys eating out and visiting art exhibitions.

Emily Spivey - Copywriting

Emily is an English Literature graduate who found a passion for writing for independent brands after moving to Bristol and being surrounded by a new wave of creativity. She loves to connect people through words and achieves this as the copywriter for our new client, Plenaire, perfectly depicting the empowering and inspirational message they aim to promote. She enjoys slow living, travel, and a good book.

Katie Dutton - Copywriting

Originally an Intern, Katie is now another one of our great copywriters, producing content for our client Juno Hire and our blog posts at Weekend:IN. With a love for creativity through art and writing, Katie injects fun and passion into whatever she produces, and has recently had an article published in Lionheart mag!

Alisha Allkins - Intern

Alisha is our current Intern and has been with us since December. As a student in her final year of Fashion Communication at UWE she has a passion for branding and photography and admires the dedication Weekend:IN has for independent brands! She helps planning social media content for clients and Weekend:IN events. Alongside her studies she enjoys watching TedTalks & finding the best cafes!

We’re proud to have gained and be growing a team of dedicated women, passionate about showcasing their skills and love for independent businesses! We hope you enjoy Galentines Day surrounded by the Gals that inspire you most!
